DETAILS:

We are looking for resource(s) to support development and maintenance of all internal and external websites supporting a government entity at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. 

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • 5+ years’ experience with Oracle 11g database or higher in an Oracle database administration environment.
  • Holds a valid TOP SECRET/SCI-(TS/SCI) security clearance
  • Has knowledge of the DOD IA and IA-enabled configuration standards for Oracle databases devices/systems of the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Oracle database architecture with demonstrable experience in the implementation and adherence to STIGs
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification or Higher Cert such as CASP or CISSP
  • Has direct experience implementing or managing security functionality or controls in data centric environments
  • Experience in designing and building relational databases, develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge to successfully manage project work
  • Broad understanding of network, storage, database, application server, webserver and application security issues
  • Broad knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, data encryptions, and other industry-standard techniques and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • 10+ years’ experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
  • DBA experience in Solaris Operating System environment
  • DBA experience in Windows Operating System environment
  • DBA experience in Linux Operating System environment
  • Experience in information systems security auditing, vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, and penetration testing.
  • Experience leading teams in designing and building relational databases, develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database
  • Knowledgeable of federal information security and information assurance policies, standards, and regulations
  • Administration and/or usage experience with other relational database systems (Postgres, SQL, etc.) and No-SQL databases systems (such as MongoDB, Neo4J, Cassandra, Couch DB, etc.)
