Shim Continues to Expand its Relationship with the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) through ATEP and AVIPSS III

Shim Enterprise Inc. (Shim) has supported the NASIC for over 13 years and looks forward to extending this relationship through the Advanced Technical Exploitation Program (ATEP) contract, as well as the Automated Virtual Information Production Support System (AVIPSS) III contract. 

In line with company strategy to partner with the best in the industry, Shim was a member of both the ATEP and AVIPSS III teams Northrup Grumman organized to support the activities associated with these contract vehicles at the NASIC.   Northrup Grumman was awarded both of these contracts this past month.

The ATEP contract will provide systems engineering, testing, training and quality assurance support to the NASIC, while AVIPSS III will allow custom computer programming services.

Shim Enterprise is a member of one of the small business teams that was awarded an Encore II contract.

Encore II will allow the Military Services and the DoD to contract for their IT requirements from June 2008 through June 2013 with a five one-year option periods.

Lingual Information Systems Technology, our team lead on NSETS II, was one of twenty small business teams to be awarded an NSA Set-Aside for Small Business (NSETS II) program contract. This contract vehicle will enable the NSA to obtain business, engineering, information technology, operations and training support from companies that focus on these services as core competencies.
