DETAILS:
Shim Enterprise Inc. is seeking a motivated and well-organized individual to provide the 754th ELSG at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex with JAVA Architecture expertise for the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS). All work will be performed on-site at MAFB-Gunter Annex.
The successful candidate will assist in migrating the ARMS ad-hoc query capability from Oracle Discoverer (client/server based) to Oracle 10g web-based Discoverer. Assist with design, development, and deployment of ARMS 6.0 release. Assist with the architecture, design, and development of future versions of the ARMS 6 application IAW ARMS database consolidation, to include ARMS 6 application software changes to support the newly consolidated ARMS database. Assist with the standardization of architecture and design of all components in future releases of ARMS.
Skills Required/Preferred:
- Systems analysis, architecture, design, and modeling
- Object Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming Methodologies
- Service-Oriented Architecture
- Oracle 10g Application Server, Enterprise Edition (includes Business Intelligence, Forms and Reports, and Discoverer)
- Web-based J2EE application development, to include:
- Java
- Java Server Pages (JSP)
- Jakarta Struts
- JavaScript
- HTML
- XML
Skills helpful, but, not required.
- Knowledge of the ARMS application
- Oracle 10g Database Server, PL/SQL
- Spring
- Ajax
- Hibernate
- Oracle TopLink
- Java Messaging Service (JMS)
